DPS will work with your existing IT Department, System Owners, and System Administrators to develop an in-depth Computer Network Defense (CND) strategy. A group of highly skilled individuals at DPS can augment an organization's existing staff by conducting systematic examination of an organization’s information systems, desktop applications, web applications (see below), and other products to determine the adequacy of existing security measures. These skilled individuals can help to identify any potential security deficiencies, to predict the effectiveness of future security measures, and to confirm the adequacy of CND countermeasures after they are implemented. During these engagements, certificated DPS employees will provide recommendations that will harden information systems and improve the security posture of your organization.
DPS offers specialized assessments on web applications to discover previously unknown vulnerabilities, which may be exploited at will by attackers from around the globe. DPS adapts various methods to perform application vulnerability analysis. The goal is always to disclose to the customer how likely penetration into the information system is given a holistic approach by applying all environmental, network, and application factors. DPS’s methods typically include code review, fuzzing, reverse engineering, protocol analysis, flow analysis, and session manipulation. DPS frequently discovers Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), SQL Injection, and Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerabilities in our customer’s web applications.
